The latest JUGT pub night was held on April 22nd at Hemingway's (Yorkville).
It was a fun night with lots of Joomla info exchanged among the members who participated.
Even though I have been using Joomla since its inception it was my first time attending a pub night and it certainly won't be my last. I certainly had a blast!!
For those of you who are beginning to work with Joomla, the pub nights can be a way to find answers to issues you have encountered as well as an awesome opportunity to socialize with some "Top Dogs" in the Joomla development team. For those with some experience, it is a way to help by passing along some of that knowledge acquired over the years.
The goal is to get enough members involved to support regular JUGT monthly meetings and that would possibly lead to a Joomla Day in TO!
Come on everybody!! The time to get involved is now! You will certainly gain from it.

- Attend Events and 1.5.x compatibility
- Use of overrides for rendering standards compliant and tableless components, modules and plugins
- Regular JUGT monthly meetings
- Virtuemart's issues with multiple tax rates for shipping based taxes
- And more.
